Cathy is a member of the Deep Cut Orchid Society and is affiliated with the American Orchid Society’s Northeast Judging Center in Elmsford, NY.  She has traveled extensively in the U.S. and South America to judge orchid shows and further her knowledge of orchids. Cathy’s articles have been published in newspapers in the U.S. and Ecuador, and in the American Orchid Society’s Orchids magazine. Cathy is also a guest lecturer at events in the tri-state area and was a featured speaker at the AOS Members Meeting in Del Ray Beach, Florida.

Married to John L. Sullivan for 36 years, Cathy and John are proud parents to eleven children ranging in age from six to thirty three.  Annie’s Orchids is named after their youngest child who can often be found alongside Mom in the greenhouse.  The main greenhouse with 1700 square feet of growing space is located on the Sullivan’s 80 acre homestead in the beautiful mountains of northeast Pennsylvania.
